Beyond keys and locks

Mechanical keys can't restrict a person to certain times or days, don't record who opened which door, and are easily copied. When a key is lost — or a keyholder leaves — the locks must be re-keyed.

Electronic access control solves all of this. When a credential is presented, the system decides instantly whether to unlock the door, records the transaction, and monitors the door for being forced or held open. Lost fob? Delete it in seconds — no locksmith required.

• PIN code — simple keypad entry
• Proximity card / fob — tap to enter, including Mifare smart cards
• Magstripe card — swipe entry
• Biometric — fingerprint and facial recognition

Works with almost any door

Access control can be added to most doors and openings using electric strikes and releases, electro-magnetic locks, electric mortice locks, motorised locks and motorised 3-point locking — always with safe, free mechanical egress on exit.
